Sohail Nasir

Mr. Sohail Nasir is the Deputy Chairman of Pakistan’s National Accountability Bureau with a distinguished legal career spanning 34 years—11 years as an advocate and 23 years as a judge. He has served in a wide range of judicial roles including Justice of the Lahore High Court, Registrar of both the Lahore and Islamabad High Courts, and Director General of the Punjab Judicial Academy. He pioneered Pakistan’s Model Courts initiative and led the Expeditious Justice Initiative (EJI) under the supervision of the Chief Justice of Pakistan. A recognized judicial reformer and master trainer, Mr. Nasir has delivered landmark judgments and played a leading role in advancing legal education, alternate dispute resolution, and rights-based jurisprudence. He is the recipient of numerous national honors, including the title of Best Performing Judge of Pakistan (2019).
