- The Maldives Experience in Combatting Corruption in Tourism; moderated by Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) will bring together representatives from Auditor General’s Office, Tourism Ministry, Maldives Police Service, and a Private Sector Expert. - The perspective of civil society and other international actors: addressing corruption and ensuring integrity in industry sectors such as the tourism industry and the need to put in place robust institutional frameworks and clear mechanisms to enforce ethical practice. Background and primary objective This session aims to highlight the integrity and corruption risks within the tourism industry. By bringing these issues to light, the audience will gain an understanding of latest practices to mitigate these risks and promote ethical practices
