H.E. Dr. Muhannad Hijazi

H.E. Dr. Muhannad Hijazi is the Chairman of the Integrity and Anti-Corruption Commission. He holds a PhD in International Law, a Master’s in International Legal Studies from American University, Washington, and a Law degree from the University of Damascus.

With a distinguished career in the judiciary, Dr. Hijazi served in several senior roles, including Director of the Military Judiciary, President of the Military Appeals Court, and Deputy General of the State Security Court. He is an accredited expert in international humanitarian law with the International Committee of the Red Cross and a member of several international legal and humanitarian organizations.

Dr. Hijazi has received multiple national honors, including the Planet Medal (Second Class) and the Independence Medal (Third Degree).
