Afrah Saleh Mohammed Badwilan

Ms. Afrah Saleh Mohammed Badwilan is the President of the Supreme National Authority for Combating Corruption in the Republic of Yemen.
She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Law from the University of Aden and has completed specialized training in community planning, criminal investigation, and anti-corruption. Her career spans decades of service as a judge and presiding judge across various courts, with deep experience in legal affairs, justice sector reform, and human rights advocacy.
As a national trainer in criminal justice and human rights, Ms. Badwilan has played a pivotal role in leading Yemen’s anti-corruption efforts. She oversees the implementation of the national anti-corruption strategy, supervises investigations, and works to strengthen institutional transparency. She also represents Yemen in international anti-corruption initiatives and partnerships.
